The world is chaos right now

The world feels like chaos right now. So much bad news, constantly. I know it's partly because we live in a global age. Everyone knows everything, everywhere.
We're confronted with more information than ever before. Even though statistics show it's actually a safer place, and crime rates are lower, the sheer volume of negative updates doesn't immediately make us feel safer. On the contrary, it makes the world feel far more chaotic.
And that's not a nice feeling. It's not an ideal way to live.
Many people don't feel the peace they once did. It's hard. It's even harder to escape it, especially with how much the world relies on digital communication. It's tough to just live a quiet, peaceful life and still feel like you're having an impact.
It used to be easier. The world felt smaller for each individual. You had a clearer sense of what you were doing, your place in it, and the direct impact of your actions on yourself and others. What you were doing it for was much more visible.
Now, with all the global connections and constant communication, it's getting harder to see what you're doing, why you're doing it, and who you're doing it for.
It's also easier to live in a kind of container, to distance yourself. That's a disturbing fact. Again, statistics might say one thing, but it's not about actuality; it's about feeling. It's about the rush, the stress, the pressure to perform, and the information overload happening everywhere.
The thing is, we can't really go back from this world. It only seems to intensify. We've embraced the ease of digital life, but the problem is we're also rewarding high communication and high-performing everything. We live in a world where you thrive if you're good at surfing along. This isn't just about the rat race; this is something different entirely, centered on communication and digital living.
